When Autumn Comes To Town
I really need to shape up when it comes to my blogging. It's been a fun and busy summer!
To keep it short, here's what I've been doing:
July 6-12 I went with a whole bunch of friends to Hultfredsfestivalen. It was sunny, rainy, cold and windy. Mostly cold and rainy. But we had a good time, and saw bands like Kings of Leon, The Sounds, The Killers, Solid Gold, N.A.S.A, Mando Diao, Ólafur Arnalds, Kid Cudi and Peter, Bjorn & John. Because of the weather, it was impossible to stay away from getting a cold. I tried to fight it, but there was just no way... This year, we really felt old, and we all agreed that if this wasn't our last festival, it was at least the last one in a tent.
July 15-19, only a few days after the festival it was time for another trip I've been waiting for. At 1.00 am, I got on the bus to Arlanda to finally get on the plane to Newark for an Express visit to my host family from last year, and also to New York. It couldn't have been better. I went to NY and met up with Stella, who I haven't seen in almost two years! I went to the boardwalk and to Six Flags (amusement park) with the family and I went out with Vincent and his friends. A visit way too short, but I'll be back someday, and then I'll stay longer than a few days.
I've also moved my stuf to Oslo, and in just a week, I'm moving myself as well. I'm really nervous, but in a good way. I'm really looking forward to living there for a while! As soon as the first few days of work has past, I've gotten used to the language and can find my way around a bit better, I'm sure it will be great!
Even though it's still summer, I'm really starting to get fall-vibes. You know, I feel like listening to sad songs, go for long walks, drinking tea and watch movies.
That's about what I will be doing tonight. It got pretty late before we got home from yesterday's party, and I fell asleep around 4.30 in the morning. So today I'm only gonna clean my room a bit, take a bath, maybe go for a walk, and then make some pop corn and watch a movie.
